Great weather, great people. Perfect day for a Pride parade. One of the largest gay pride parades in the country took place today. Yeah, it was "our turn" this week. Every knows from the start of June until the end of the summer, there is a pride somewhere every weekend. Very nice to see Orland Strong come out as well as our neighbors from Las Vegas who had a small contingency in the parade. There was talk about possibly an alternate route for the parade if protesting got out of hand but San Diego handled her business. Putting together one of the parades is a logistical nightmare. I can't imagine rerouting a whole parade at the last minute.
