Saturday I rode along with the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego travelled to South Mexicali to give out supplies of food and water and tents to earthquake victims who have been displaced because of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on April 4th in Mexicali. When the caravan stopped in Ocotillo, we spoke briefly with two guys on a bike ride. This epic ride a 6,600 mile trip across the US: 4000 miles by bike from Virginia to Southern California is coming to an end for now in San Diego, CA on April 11th where Ryan (red beard) and Bryan (black beard) will arrive in San Diego to dip their front tires in the Pacific Ocean.
