Relief To Mexicali Earthquake Victims

I finally got a chance to see the aftermath of the 7.2 quake that struck Baja, California. I got the opportunity to ride with a San Diego non-profit group called The Border Angels and the First Unitarian Universalists Church of San Diego on a trip to Mexicali which was hit hard by the quake. Southern Mexicali was many displaced persons as a result of this quake who have no real shelter and are in need of clothing and food. We visited a couple of camps and actually we were told that there is enough food and water for everyone so that was actually comforting to know that no one was starving. There is always room for improvement, but again, it's good to know that people are still eating. Out of all this, there was a small, one day old baby girl born amongs the camp in all it's chaos.
