Stonewall Citizen's Patrol celebrated it's 3rd year anniversary at The Bamboo Lounge located in Hillcrest. This group of volunteers patrol the Hillcrest area ready to report violent or illegal activity in areas that are off the path or dark due to lack of lighting. In reaction to a wave of violent attacks in the Hillcrest community, this citizen's patrol was formed. The volunteers of the group put in alot of hours making Hillcrest and surrounding neighborhoods safer. It's unfortunate that people can't even walk down the sidewalk without being attacked physically or verbally due to their sexual orientation.
