Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao were in town last month to talk about Manny's upcoming fight next month in Las Vegas. Freddie is one of boxings' greatest trainers of all kinds according to many. Freddie was also a boxer back in the day and at one time was the most televised boxer on ESPN. When you hear him speak, you can hear the effects Parkinson's Disease but the guy is sharp as a tack when it comes to training fighters and it definately doesn't slow him down physically. I wonder if he fought with Manny over the decision to train in the Philippines because Manny is treated like royalty there and all the attention could distract the pound for pound king.
